The PAS Aviation Team supports airlines and aviation companies across Europe in meeting its resourcing goals. Our services cover a range of employment related administrative functions, including recruitment, payroll and labour relations. Additionally we provide consultancy services across other areas of aviation, utilising our in-depth airline experience. We are seeking a Recruiter to join our recruitment team in Exeter, UK. Applicants must have the right to live and work in the UK.

Job Purpose
To support the smooth running and administration of both crew recruitment and day-to-day employee lifestyle administration to ensure that all changes are fully recorded and documented. The administrator performs various functions within this small team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Recruitment Manager in the daily administration of pilot and cabin crew recruitment, employment lifecycle and other tasks to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
  • Entering and updating company, employee, and client records.
  • Coordinate the administration of recruitment, interviewing, screening and appointment of new employees as necessary.
  • Prepare job descriptions before job advert placement is made both for internal and external recruitment.
  • Prepare the candidates recruitment pack ready for interview and update the progress tracker, to assist in the applicant tracker progress.
  • Maintain company database and make sure that it is always up to date.
  • Ensure that there is an effective and cordial relationship between various departments of a customer organisation, especially via the passage of information from one team to another.
  • Take minutes in employee trade union meetings, ensuring there is a written record of the meeting, and that this is distributed as quickly as possible.
  • Other tasks as required to support the smooth running of the administrative processes in the employee lifecycle.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Possess strong IT skills and experience of working with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Power point.
  • Familiarity with office technology and equipment, including computers, scanners, printers, phone systems, etc.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Five GCSEs or equivalent, including A* - C in English and Maths.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Willingness to work out of normal working hours if required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to work.
  • Confident, approachable and enthusiastic.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Accurate, numerate and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to Multitask.
  • Team player with the ability to work with a degree of autonomy.
  • Flexibility to travel when required.
Desirable Skills
  • Previous experience of working within a fast-paced customer facing role or similar experience.
  • First Aid training.
  • Fire Marshall training.
